Are Trading Influencers Lying? Test Their Claims With AI
A practical way to investigate a trading or investing claim you see on social media. Austin uses an agentic coding tool such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor with the NexusTrade MCP, then gives it the source video and asks it to check the claimed strategy, supporting evidence, and incentives behind the pitch.
The point is not to outsource judgment to AI. It is to turn a vague feeling that a creator may be selling a course rather than a repeatable strategy into a concrete research workflow. Use the same process on Austin’s videos and compare the claims with the available evidence.

0:00Here's how I determine if a trading influencer or a trading TikTok is full of shit And so far I haven't really found anybody that's not full of shit So if you want to know who you can trust when you're doom scrolling on social media stop Save this video because you're going to want to try it for yourself the next time you come across any video that's giving you concealed financial advice He always says not financial advice it's financial advice You first want to find your terminal app If you're not a software engineer go to applications go to utilities and find terminal Click it and it's going to open this window If you don't want to mess around with your terminal you can instead download Claude by going to Anthropic's website and clicking the download button Otherwise you're going to install this exact command It's extremely important that it's this exact website Claude ai slash install sh Nothing else This exact one You're going to paste it in I already have Claude so I'm not going to download it Then you're going to type in this exact command Claude mcp add dash dash transport http nexus trade and then this website right here nexus trade io slash api slash mcp Then you're going to type in the word Claude If this is your personal computer and you're not fucking around with malware then go ahead and click yes I trust this folder You're going to type slash mcp enter and then you're going to find the new nexus trade mcp tool You're going to click enter and it's going to probably ask you to authenticate I'm already authenticated but when you do it's going to redirect you to something that looks like this and it probably asks to create an account Don't worry Getting started is 100 free Click allow and then once you're done it's going to say authentication successful You'll go back here You see authentication successful It's connected to nexus trade You're going to find the TikTok that you're trying to fact check and I just text myself different TikToks to see if people are full of shit I'm going to paste the link and then just ask Claude to create this strategy and ask does it beat the market What that's going to do is going to create this AI agent that fact checks the TikTok and you can see this person in particular is a dirty little liar Her strategy is horrible Me on the back end I do a little bit more work making sure that there's no bugs in the platform but from first glance this strategy is genuinely atrocious I mean it couldn't be any worse That's all I do If you have any questions at all leave a comment below
