Congressional Trading Disclosures. Two Free Repos to Research Them.

Austin walks through two free GitHub repos. congressional-disclosures downloads House and Senate trading filings into a local database with npx congressional-disclosures@latest download --sqlite. nexustrade-py, installed with pip install nexustrade, can use those public disclosures as inputs next to technical, fundamental, economic, and other alternative data. The recording also shows financial research and walk-forward analysis.

Filings are delayed. A test has to use the date a disclosure became public, not the date of the trade. No brokerage order is placed in the recording.
