0:00So I saw this TikTok saying, if you're a black man making over $250,000 per year,

0:04what do you do and how do you get into the field? I'm a software engineer. I'll be making $340,000

0:10per year starting next Monday and here's how you can too. This video will be extremely fabulous,

0:16basically a little bootcamp that I'm giving you for free. So if you want to be in my position

0:22two, three, five years from now, stop and save the video. Step one, you need to learn a little

0:29bit about computer science. I'm going to give you three free courses that you can take today.

0:34You can start it right now and take them at your own pace. The first, Introduction to Computer

0:38Science CS50 from Harvard is literally the Introduction to Computer Science class they

0:43teach at Harvard. It's extremely good and it's free. Next, take the Web Developer Bootcamp

0:50by Colt Steele. This is literally the course I took for my first unpaid internship. It's the

0:56reason why I'm as good a software engineer as I am. And pair it with this course called React,

1:02The Complete Guide. Both of these courses are on Udemy. They cost a little bit of money,

1:06but they're worth it. It's a small investment into your future. It's a lot less expensive

1:10than medical school. Quick adjustment, make sure you buy these courses in incognito mode,

1:15otherwise they're going to overcharge you. Create a new tab, make it incognito, and then buy the

1:21courses. You're welcome. You might want to take some courses or watch some videos on data

1:25algorithms, but for now, this is enough. The next thing you want to do is try to build a substantial

1:31project from scratch. For example, I created this app called NexusTrade. It uses AI agents to

1:36manage trading bots. Start with something that you're actually interested in and then just start

1:42creating a design. And yes, you can and should use AI to help you. But when using AI to help you,

1:48let AI explain things to you so you can understand why it's making the decisions it is. I can make

1:55an entire new video on how to use AI to help you learn, but just just leverage AI. You have to

2:01leverage AI. Number three, use all this experience to build a strong resume. Get an internship,

2:07whether it's paid or unpaid. Leverage that to get a second internship or an apprenticeship

2:12program, and then you can finally get the big tech job of your dreams. It isn't overnight.

2:17This is hard, but it's not impossible. If I can do it, you can too. I'm literally a biology major.

2:24Good luck.
