Let's recap everything we've covered so far.
You've learned: → What a trading strategy is → The building blocks: indicators → conditions → actions → What makes a strategy good vs. bad → How to backtest and evaluate performance → Optimization and the danger of overfitting → Why stock market returns are non-stationary
Now it's time for the final piece: deployment.
In the next video, I'll show you how to test your strategy in real-time without risking any money, then scale up and connect to a brokerage for live trading.
This is how you become a true algorithmic trader.
Watch lessons, complete hands-on activities, pass quizzes—and by the end, you'll have a real strategy deployed to the market.

0:01At this point in the module, we learned what is a trading strategy.
0:05We learned how to build them starting from the most fundamental building blocks, which are indicators, using indicators to create conditions, and then using conditions to execute actions.
0:17We then learned about how do you test your trading strategy, and what makes a trading strategy good versus what makes a trading strategy bad.
0:26We learned about backtesting and optimization so we can build the best version of our trading strategies, at least according to past historical data.
0:36We also learned that this process is not perfect because stock market returns are non-stationary, and that stock market returns change over time.
0:48In this last module, we're gonna be talking about strategy deployment: how do you see how your trading strategy performs in the real world without risking any money at all?
1:01We can then learn about how do you scale up your trading strategy and start connecting with a brokerage to execute real trades.
1:11And the combination of all this, from creating a trading strategy from scratch to deploying it with a brokerage, all of this will now make you a true algorithmic trader.
