Course questions
Do I need to know how to code to take this course?
No. You'll use Aurora, NexusTrade's built-in AI assistant, to get hands-on experience with every concept: tools, the ReAct loop, memory, and subagents. Everything is done through natural language. The goal is for you to understand the patterns so that when you see them in code later, they already make sense.
Is this a general AI agents course, or is it specific to trading?
It's a general course. Trading is the context because NexusTrade and Aurora are the hands-on platform, but the concepts (tools, orchestration, autonomy, memory, evaluation) apply to any AI agent you'd build in any domain.
How is this different from the Algorithmic Trading Fundamentals course?
The Algorithmic Trading course teaches you how to build and deploy trading strategies. This course teaches you how AI agents work, using NexusTrade as the lab. You can take either one first. If you're interested in AI more than trading, start here.
What tools do I need?
A NexusTrade account. That's it. The hands-on activities all run inside Aurora chat. The two optional reading links at the end of the Module 2 System Prompt exercise (MIT Sloan + Prompting Guide) are free web resources.
