Watch a manager’s disclosed equity holdings

Maintain a watchlist from an exact institutional manager’s latest complete, publicly available equity book.

Choose the manager by CIK

Use the manager CIK rather than an ambiguous manager name. The producer follows the latest complete publicly available equity filing. The holdings period and filing availability date are different; neither proves what the manager owns today.

The managed producer updates list membership without placing orders or evaluating a strategy condition. Each watchlist key has one producer. Separate DynamicRebalance strategies can reuse its published members.

Create the managed watchlist

The Python builders below return strategy and universe configuration; running them alone does not create a saved watchlist or refresh membership. Add the producer configuration to the portfolio you intend to run, then review that portfolio before activation. The example below comes directly from the SDK managed-watchlist contract. Berkshire’s CIK identifies the public source; the names and refresh interval are example configuration. Running a full portfolio can start compute or paper deployment, so review it before submission.

python
import nexustrade as nt
manager = nt.update_institutional_watchlist(
    watchlist_key="berkshire-equities", manager_cik="1067983",
)
insider = nt.update_insider_watchlist(
    watchlist_key="insider-purchases", window_days=90, role="OfficerOrDirector",
)
screen = nt.update_screener_watchlist(
    watchlist_key="berkshire-top-20", refresh_minutes=1440,
    columns=[nt.screen_column("price", nt.screen_price()),
             nt.screen_column("holding", nt.screen_disclosure(manager["source"]))],
    filter=nt.screen_all(nt.screen_compare("price", "Gte", 5),
                         nt.screen_compare("holding", "Gt", 0)),
    selection=nt.screen_top("holding", 20),
)
screen_universe = nt.watchlist_universe("berkshire-top-20")

Use the published watchlist

Paper and live strategies wait for the saved watchlist update. Historical backtests keep their membership within the run. Coverage failures block new allocation rather than pretending an incomplete result is a complete empty book.

Open the resulting list and inspect Portfolio producer. It should identify the intended portfolio and show a successful membership refresh. No successful membership refresh recorded yet means the list has no confirmed producer output; Portfolio needs attention or Portfolio status unavailable requires inspection before using its members. Open the resulting list to set its purpose, name, alerts and Aurora brief cadence. Subsequent user edits remain authoritative.
