0:00You spent the last semester working in a

0:02research lab that you hate You helped your

0:06friend Greg make a website for his little

0:09app and he's actually really happy about it

0:11It only serves 30 users per day but

0:14he's really happy about it and he tells

0:18you that you did a great job You

0:20have some real world projects and you used

0:23all of this experience to create an A

0:26quality resume I'm going to tell you how

0:28you turn this resume into real world software

0:31engineering interviews and my credentials are fairly simple

0:36I've gotten job offers offering me 200 000

0:39300 000 even 475 000 per year and

0:45this wasn't back in 2020 when all they

0:49asked was twosome This was in 2026 when

0:53all the people all the AI doomers are

0:56telling people software engineering is cooked So if

0:59you want to be in a position making

1:01300 000 400 000 475 000 per year

1:06stop and save this video Once you have

1:09your A quality resume you're going to create

1:11a fresh session within your agentic coding tool

1:15of choice I highly recommend Codex because I

1:18just like the way it works you can

1:19use Codex Cloud Code AirMess Cursor I'm going

1:23to be talking about Codex Put your resume

1:25into Codex and then you're going to say

1:29find software engineering opportunities that aligns with my

1:33skill sets You're going to tell it your

1:35requirements such as what location do you want

1:38Can it be remote friendly if it's hybrid

1:40or can it be fully in person What

1:42are the compensation expectations And then you're also

1:46going to give it a little bit more

1:48resource so it knows sort of where to

1:50look This includes looking at the levels fyi

1:53internships guide This guide says all the highest

1:56paying internships and even if you're not looking

1:59for an internship even if you're only looking

2:01for a junior level software engineering job the

2:03company pays their interns 150 an hour What

2:06do you think they're paying their new grad

2:08engineers You're going to give it a wide

2:10combination of directories if you're open to startups

2:12You're going to give it a bunch of

2:14research and then tell the tool to do

2:17deep research and build a large database of

2:22all the companies that fit your criteria And

2:25this isn't going to take a minute or

2:27two minutes It might take 5 10 20

2:30an hour even several hours to do this

2:34correctly And once it finds the list of

2:38jobs you're going to tell Codex to apply

2:40for them on your behalf The only thing

2:44you want to say is if the job

2:46has a blurb on why do you want

2:48to work for this company don't tell Codex

2:50to fill it in automatically You should probably

2:53work with Codex a little bit to put

2:56a blurb that doesn't sound like AI slop

2:59But for the regular jobs the ones that

3:00just require a workday profile the ones that

3:02just fill in the job application Codex can

3:06do these jobs automatically and it can apply

3:09to 20 50 even 100 jobs per day

3:13depending on your Codex plan And by using

3:16Codex as your tool of choice you don't

3:18have to spend hours filling out all these

3:21applications You can just simply relax You can

3:26have Codex apply to all the jobs and

3:29over the next couple of weeks if you

3:31have an A quality resume you're going to

3:34get your very first online assessment They're going

3:38to ask and test how well can you

3:41really code In the next video I'm going

3:43to make sure the answer is very well
