How Do You Make Videos With Claude Code? I Never Opened After Effects
Someone asked how I made the hand-drawn graphics in my videos. The cheat code is Claude Code writing JavaScript: one function takes a moment in time and draws exactly what belongs on screen, a headless browser renders every frame, Claude flips through those frames to catch mistakes like a label hanging off the page, and ffmpeg stitches them into the finished video. No After Effects, no CapCut, and nothing drawn by hand.

0:00I'm an AI engineer, and I discovered a secret cheat code to creating videos with Claude Code.
0:05Every single frame of this video is JavaScript.
0:07I didn't draw any of it, and I never opened After Effects.
0:10Claude Code wrote it.
0:13It writes one function where you give it a timestamp, and it draws whatever's supposed to be on screen at that exact moment.
0:19Ask for that twenty four times a second and you've got a video.
0:23The catch is that Claude can't actually watch a video.
0:25So it renders every frame in a browser, flips through them like a stack of screenshots, and fixes whatever's broken.
0:32If a label is hanging off the edge of the page, it catches it and redraws it.
0:36Then ffmpeg glues all the frames together and you get this.
0:41I saw this on someone else's TikTok today, dropped it into Claude, and told it to update my skills and make this video.
0:47Tell me what I should make it draw next.
