The company provides agricultural and horticultural products, including mineral-based absorbent products that serve as carriers for biological and chemical active ingredients, drying agents, and growing media under the Agsorb, Verge, and Flo-Fre brand names. It also offers animal health and nutrition products for the livestock industry; and adsorbent products for bleaching, purification, and filtration applications. In addition, it provides cat litter products under Saular brand name, such as scoopable and non-clumping litter under the Cat's Pride and Jonny Cat brand names; crystal cat litter products under Ultra and Litter Pearls brand names; Pro Mound packing clay is used to construct pitcher's mounds, catcher's stations and batter's boxes; Rapid Dry drying agent is used to wick away excess water from the infield; industrial and automotive sorbent products from clay, polypropylene, and recycled materials that absorb oil, acid, paint, ink, water, and other liquids under the Oil-Dri brand name; and sports products for use on baseball, softball, football, cricket, and soccer fields under the Pro's Choice brand name. Its customers include mass merchandisers, farm & fleet channel, drugstore chains, pet specialty retail outlets, dollar stores, retail grocery stores, distributors of industrial cleanup and automotive products, environmental service companies, and sports field product and sports turf material users; processors and refiners of edible oils, petroleum-based oils, and biodiesel fuel; manufacturers of animal feed and agricultural chemicals; distributors of animal health and nutrition products; and marketers of consumer products. The company was founded in 1941 and is based in Chicago, Illinois.

Sensient Technologies Corporation, together with its subsidiaries, manufactures and markets colors, flavors, and other specialty ingredients worldwide. It operates in three segments: Flavors & Extracts, Color, and Asia Pacific. The Flavors & Extracts segment develops, manufactures, and supplies flavor systems under the Sensient Flavors and Sensient Natural Ingredients brands. This segment produces flavor, extract, and essential oil products; natural ingredients, such as dehydrated garlic, onion, and other natural ingredients for food processors; systems products, including flavor-delivery systems, and compounded and blended products; and selected ingredient products, such as natural and synthetic flavors, natural extracts, and essential oils. The Color segment develops, manufactures, and supplies colors. This segment provides natural and synthetic color systems for food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, and nutraceuticals sectors; colors and other ingredients for personal care, such as active ingredients, solubilizers, and surface treated pigments; pharmaceutical and nutraceutical excipients, such as colors, flavors, and coatings; and technical colors for industrial applications under the Sensient Food Colors, Sensient Pharmaceutical, Sensient Beauty, and Sensient Specialty Markets brand names. The Asia Pacific segment markets the company's product lines in the Pacific Rim under the Sensient name. Sensient Technologies Corporation was incorporated in 1882 and is headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
