We are a clinical-stage neuromuscular disease company focused on discovering and advancing innovative life-transforming therapeutics for people living with genetically driven neuromuscular diseases. Leveraging the modularity of our FORCE platform, we are developing targeted therapeutics that are designed to overcome limitations in delivery to muscle tissue and the central nervous system, or CNS. Our proprietary FORCE platform therapeutics consist of a payload that we rationally design to target the genetic basis of the disease we are seeking to treat, a linker and an antigen-binding fragment, or Fab, that we attach to the payload using the linker. With our FORCE platform, we have the flexibility to deploy different classes of payloads (such as oligonucleotides and enzymes) with specific mechanisms of action that modify target functions.
Using our FORCE platform, we are assembling a broad portfolio of product candidates, including product candidates being developed for myotonic dystrophy type 1, or DM1, Duchenne muscular dystrophy, or DMD, facioscapulohumeral dystrophy, or FSHD, and Pompe disease. In addition, we plan to expand our portfolio through development efforts focused on rare skeletal muscle diseases, as well as cardiac and metabolic muscle diseases, including some with larger patient populations, and diseases involving the CNS. We have identified product candidates for each of our DM1, DMD, FSHD and Pompe programs that are in varying stages of preclinical and clinical development. The following table summarizes our portfolio:

General We are one of the leading global specialty plasma therapeutics companies developing, manufacturing and distributing a broad range of biological medicines based on plasma derived proteins. Plasma derivatives are proteins found in human plasma, which once isolated and purified, have therapeutic value. These protein-based therapies extend and enhance the lives of individuals who suffer from chronic and acute, often life-threatening, conditions, including primary and secondary immunological deficiencies, Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (“CIDP”), A1PI deficiency and related emphysema, immune-mediated ITP, Guillain Barré syndrome, Kawasaki disease, allogeneic bone marrow transplants, hemophilia A and B, von Willebrand disease, traumatic or hemorrhagic shock and severe burns.
(“GigaGen”) is developing a novel class of therapeutics, recombinant polyclonal antibodies, to address unmet needs in infectious disease. In 2024, GigaGen dosed its first patient in a phase 1 clinical trial to assess the safety and tolerability of GIGA-2339, the company’s first recombinant polyclonal antibody candidate for treating hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection, following its FDA clearance as an investigational new drug (IND). GIGA-2339 includes more than 1,000 recombinant human antibodies targeting HBV to mimic the body’s natural immune response, with the potential to eliminate the virus and activate the immune system. There is presently no cure for HBV, which affects more than 296 million people globally and causes over 800,000 deaths every year.

market. In 2024, the Diagnostic business unit filed over 16 new patents, spanning composition of matter, methods and devices, further growing our intellectual property portfolio and competitive position in the areas of molecular testing, infectious disease, blood typing, clinical diagnostics. Other Initiatives Through our subsidiary Araclon Biotech, S.L. (“Araclon”), we are dedicated to finding solutions that promote new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to Alzheimer’s disease, to be applied in the early stages of the disease. Araclon is working on the validation of an early diagnostic test and the development of a vaccine (ABvac40) to combat Alzheimer’s disease in the asymptomatic stage.
The vaccine has passed the animal experimentation stage and Phase 1 and Phase 2 clinical trials have been completed. The Phase 2 trial of ABvac40, initiated in 2018 and ended in 2023, showed positive outcomes. ABvac40 had a good safety profile, stimulated a robust immune response against Aβ40 peptide, and demonstrated potential cognitive benefits in early-stage AD patients, meeting primary endpoints. Though the trial was not designed to assess efficacy on neuropsychological scales, we observed promising results in secondary endpoints between the ABvac40-treated group and the placebo group. Post-hoc analyses in 2024 indicated greater benefits for patients with amyloid deposits, with fewer cases of significant decline on the Mini-Mental State Examination (“MMSE”) scale, especially among top responders.

Behind the comparison

Sources and methodology

Price return uses split-adjusted daily closes and excludes dividends. Both stocks start on the first shared trading day within the selected window. Unavailable metrics leave gaps.

Financials use SEC canonical statements available by the displayed cutoff, retaining each company's fiscal period end. Annual and quarterly amounts are shown separately. P/E is unavailable when earnings do not support a positive ratio.

Business overlap uses industry tags from annual filings released in 2025. Each core activity receives full weight; each material activity receives one quarter of that weight. Rarer industries carry more weight. We sum the smaller exposure for each shared activity and divide it by the sum of the larger exposure for every activity in either company. This measures business overlap, rather than price correlation or expected returns.

Search eligibility requires distinct issuers, a shared core category and at least 20% weighted overlap, supported by industry or sector evidence and specific business activities. Broad classifications require stronger overlap within the same sector. Comparisons also need at least 252 shared price observations within two years, recent trading and a common sourced revenue or net-income trend. Missing P/E or gross margin alone does not exclude a comparison. The eligibility snapshot refreshes daily. Related comparisons use a separate, stricter peer rule; their ten-peer discovery limit does not limit search eligibility. Other stock pairs remain available in the comparison tool.

Statements available through 2026-10-16. Industry snapshot: 2025-12-31 · 5,721 classified issuers.
