Items 1 and 2. Business and Properties Business Overview Crescent is a differentiated U.S. energy company committed to delivering value for shareholders through a disciplined growth through acquisition strategy and consistent return of capital. Our long-life, balanced portfolio combines stable cash flows from low-decline production with deep, high-quality development inventory. Our activities are focused in Texas and the Rocky Mountain region. Our Class A Common Stock trades on the NYSE under the symbol “CRGY.”
Our revenues are primarily derived from the sale of our oil, natural gas and NGL production and are influenced by production volumes and realized prices, excluding the effect of our commodity derivative contracts. Pricing of commodities are subject to supply and demand as well as seasonal, political and other conditions that we generally cannot control. Our revenues may vary significantly from period to period as a result of changes in volumes of production sold or changes in commodity prices. The following table illustrates our production revenue mix for each of the periods presented: Year Ended December 31, 2024 2023 2022 Oil 76 % 76 % 66 % Natural gas 13 % 16 % 25 % NGLs 11 % 8 % 9 %

PART I ITEM 1. BUSINESS W&T Offshore, Inc. (“we,” “our” or “us”) is a publicly held Texas corporation. We are an independent oil and natural gas producer with substantially all our operations offshore in the Gulf of America. We are active in the acquisition, exploration and development of oil and natural gas properties. We operate in one reportable segment. Since our founding in 1983 by our Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Tracy Krohn, we have developed significant technical expertise in finding and developing properties in the Gulf of America with existing production which provide the best opportunity to achieve a return on our invested capital.
Oil and Natural Gas Marketing and Delivery Commitments The market for our oil, NGL and natural gas production depends on factors beyond our control, including the extent of domestic production and imports of oil, NGLs and natural gas; the proximity and capacity of natural gas pipelines and other transportation facilities; the demand for oil, NGLs and natural gas; the marketing of competitive fuels; and the effect of state and federal regulation. The oil and natural gas industry also competes with other industries in supplying the energy and fuel requirements of industrial, commercial and individual consumers. We sell our oil, NGLs and natural gas to third-party customers. The terms of sale under the majority of existing contracts are short-term, usually one year or less in duration.

Our free cash flow-focused portfolio includes a balanced set of oil and natural gas assets in proven onshore U.S. basins with substantial existing production, a low decline rate and an acreage position that is 96% held by production as of December 31, 2024. As a result of this overall low decline profile, we require relatively minimal capital expenditures to maintain our production and cash flows. We have a robust inventory of attractive operated undeveloped locations, providing for optimal flexibility to maintain or grow our production base. While many operators in our industry have historically focused on the capital intensive pursuit of high production growth rates, our management team has a track record of selectively acquiring cash flow oriented assets, operating them more profitably and making disciplined, returns focused reinvestment decisions to drive free cash flow generation.

Behind the comparison

Sources and methodology

Price return uses split-adjusted daily closes and excludes dividends. Both stocks start on the first shared trading day within the selected window. Unavailable metrics leave gaps.

Financials use SEC canonical statements available by the displayed cutoff, retaining each company's fiscal period end. Annual and quarterly amounts are shown separately. P/E is unavailable when earnings do not support a positive ratio.

Business overlap uses industry tags from annual filings released in 2025. Each core activity receives full weight; each material activity receives one quarter of that weight. Rarer industries carry more weight. We sum the smaller exposure for each shared activity and divide it by the sum of the larger exposure for every activity in either company. This measures business overlap, rather than price correlation or expected returns.

Related comparisons require a shared specific core activity and at least 20% overlap. Broad categories alone do not establish a close peer relationship. Identical classifications can score 100% even when companies sell different products. We select up to ten leading peers per issuer for discovery, combine both directions, and require current common shares, public company profiles and stored price observations. Arbitrary stock pairs remain available.
