As the Company ramps up operations of its integrated recycling processes, the facility will be commissioned in phases. In the first phase, which was commissioned in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2024, battery materials are recycled into products including copper, aluminum, steel, a lithium intermediate, and a black mass intermediate material. In the second phase, this lithium intermediate will be further refined into a battery grade lithium hydroxide product, and the black mass intermediate material will be further refined into battery grade nickel, cobalt, manganese, and lithium hydroxide products. Fernley, Nevada
The Company has completed the construction and commissioning of its lithium hydroxide (LiOH) pilot plant, marking a significant milestone in the commercialization of its internally-developed processes to access an unrealized domestic primary lithium resource. The construction and commissioning of this pilot plant enables the Company to demonstrate its technologies for accessing the lithium housed in its unconventional resource, Tonopah Flats Lithium Project (“TFLP”), in an integrated and continuous system, and to generate large amounts of battery grade lithium hydroxide for delivery to customers for qualifications and evaluation.

PART I Item 1. Business Overview PureCycle Technologies, Inc. ("PCT" or the "Company") is a Florida-based corporation focused on commercializing a patented dissolution process to physically separate the polymer from other plastics, color, and contaminants (the “Technology”), originally developed by The Procter & Gamble Company (“P&G”), for restoring waste polypropylene into resin with near-virgin characteristics, called PureFive™ resin. PureFive™ resin represents the family of recycled resin products we produce, including ultra-pure resin and other grades used for compounding to meet customer specifications, which has similar properties and applicability for reuse as virgin polypropylene. PCT has a global license for the Technology from P&G.
•its use of standard processing equipment that is commercially available and widely used; •its use of a physical separation/purification process without chemical reactions; •it is expected to utilize approximately one fourth the amount of energy required to produce virgin polypropylene resin; and 6 Table of Contents •its ability to recycle a wide range of polypropylene waste. Our patented dissolution recycling technology results in near-virgin quality and substantially improved odor profile compared to traditional recycled polypropylene. PureFive™ resin provides our customers with 100% recycled content without compromising appearance, purity, odor or performance in finished products. The Product: PureFive™ resin

The facility houses the Company’s first-of-kind integrated battery recycling system which utilizes a strategic de-manufacturing and targeted chemical extraction train in order to recover battery materials with high yields, low cost, and with a low environmental footprint. These processes are fundamentally different than conventional methods of battery recycling, which utilize high temperature furnaces, such as smelting, or non-strategic shredding or grinding systems. The Company’s system results in battery metals separation, recovery and purification of high-value, battery-grade products with less environmental impact and greater potential cost efficiencies than conventional methods.

Behind the comparison

Sources and methodology

Price return uses split-adjusted daily closes and excludes dividends. Both stocks start on the first shared trading day within the selected window. Unavailable metrics leave gaps.

Financials use SEC canonical statements available by the displayed cutoff, retaining each company's fiscal period end. Annual and quarterly amounts are shown separately. P/E is unavailable when earnings do not support a positive ratio.

Business overlap uses industry tags from annual filings released in 2025. Each core activity receives full weight; each material activity receives one quarter of that weight. Rarer industries carry more weight. We sum the smaller exposure for each shared activity and divide it by the sum of the larger exposure for every activity in either company. This measures business overlap, rather than price correlation or expected returns.

Search eligibility requires distinct issuers, a shared core category and at least 20% weighted overlap, supported by industry or sector evidence and specific business activities. Broad classifications require stronger overlap within the same sector. Comparisons also need at least 252 shared price observations within two years, recent trading and a common sourced revenue or net-income trend. Missing P/E or gross margin alone does not exclude a comparison. The eligibility snapshot refreshes daily. Related comparisons use a separate, stricter peer rule; their ten-peer discovery limit does not limit search eligibility. Other stock pairs remain available in the comparison tool.
