For the past 1.5 years, my app, NexusTrade, was solely a paper-trading and financial research platform. While it helped when trying to find novel investing opportunities and developing paper-trading strateiges, users couldn't actually deploy their strategies to the market.
Today, I'm excited to announce one of the most requested features of the platform – because of a partnership with Alpaca, you can now execute trades within the NexusTrade platform! 🥳
Some caveats:
✅ Slow Rollout: To make sure everything works as expected, I'm rolling this feature out to a subset of users first.
✅ Manual Trading then Semi-Automated Trading: Similarly, I'm starting with manual trading within the NexusTrade UI, and then I'll move to semi-automated trading, which requires the user to review every submitted order
✅ Systematic Approach to the Market: Now, anybody with a computer can deploy their own automated trading rules and have a thought-out, systematic decision-making process when it comes to the market
