4 VERY SIMPLE tips to make the most out of NexusTrade's AI-Powered Chat

NexusTrade's AI-Powered Chat is a technological marvel, capable of understanding complex user input. Yet often times, we get errors from the chat, and we don't know why. Here are 4 VERY SIMPLE tips to make the most of your conversations with Aurora – NexusTrade's AI-Powered Agent.

•  Be Specific Not Vague

While Aurora is designed to attempt to handle ambiguity, she really shines when you know what you want.

For example, instead of saying:

 |  "Create a Portfolio when I buy AAPL when its low and sell when it's high"

Try saying:

"Create a Portfolio with an initial value of $25,000. I want 2 strategies. Strategy 1 should purchase 5% of my buying power in AAPL stock when its price is below its (3 day SMA - 0.5 * 3 day SD). Strategy 2 should sell 25% of my portfolio value in AAPL when my AAPL positions are up 4% or more"

The sell size needs a deliberate choice. For example, in a $25,000 portfolio with a $5,000 AAPL position, 25% of total portfolio value is $6,250, while 25% of the AAPL position is $1,250. The first request exceeds the shares held in that example. Specify which value you mean and inspect how the draft handles available quantity.

To continue this archived prompt in Aurora, paste it and add: “Keep this as an inactive draft. Before generating the rules, ask me to choose portfolio-value or position-value selling, the evaluation schedule, and when an entry or exit may repeat. Show the resolved buy and sell rules with their sizing basis before requesting a test.” SMA means the simple moving average of the selected observations; SD means their standard deviation. The 3-day windows and 4% gain threshold belong to this example, not a measured result.

In December 2023, the beta banner’s “please send us a message” link emailed Austin directly, and the announcement offered a 24–48 hour reply. That describes the support flow at publication. In the current chat interface, use the conversation menu’s “Report a Bug” action. Include the request, what you expected and the response or error you received so the problem can be reproduced.
