The company's vaccine programs include the development of a vaccine against breast cancer, initially focused on triple negative breast cancer (TNBC), the most lethal form of breast cancer; and the development of a vaccine against ovarian cancer, as well as a vaccine discovery program to develop additional cancer vaccines to address intractable cancers, including high incidence malignancies in lung, colon, and prostate. Its vaccine technologies focus on the discovery of additional retired proteins that may be associated with other forms of cancer. The company was formerly known as ITUS Corporation and changed its name to Anixa Biosciences, Inc. in October 2018. Anixa Biosciences, Inc. was incorporated in 1982 and is based in San Jose, California.
