Independent QQQ trend implementation inspired by Cesar Alvarez's public study. Three-close entry, one-close exit is an Austin/NexusTrade extension. Historical net backtest return 97.96% versus QQQ 94.97%, maximum drawdown 16.31% versus 34.92% (Jan 3, 2022–Oct 5, 2026), after modeled fees. Source control, costs, weak periods and selection history are in Notes & episodes. Forward paper pilot activated Oct 7, 2026 with $10,000 simulated cash, a continuing daily refresh and a stale-session guard. Forward results are separate from the historical backtests.
